The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), comes into force on 25 May 2018. It’s an update to the current Data Protection Act and means we must be clear about how we’ll use any personal information we collect – like your e-mail address.

Vocendi is committed to processing personal data about its customers in ways that comply with its legal and regulatory obligations, and to being clear with our customers about what it does with their personal data.

We respect and value the privacy of everyone who enquires or participates in our services and will only collect and use data in ways that are useful to you in the arrangement and delivery of requested services and in a manner consistent with your rights and our obligations under the law.

This privacy notice explains how we use the personal data we collect about you.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect data about you solely in order to facilitate the arrangement and delivery of requested services.  This includes your name, address and contact details (email address and telephone number).

We may also record other data provided by you which is relevant to providing the requested service. Your personal data may include that given to us by third parties e.g. your Assessment Centre (where you have given them consent for information to be shared).

Your personal data will be stored securely on Vocendi’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

How do we use the data?

We use your personal data for the purpose of providing the services that you have requested. We may also contact you after the service has been provided to request feedback to help us improve the quality of our service. This feedback can be given anonymously.

Vocendi will not use your data for marketing purposes nor will your data be shared with any other organisation for marketing purposes.

The lawful basis on which we process your data

Vocendi will store and process your data on the basis of legitimate interest. Data collected and processed is only that which is necessary for the provision of the services you have requested.

How long do we keep personal data?

We will only retain your personal data for as long as it is required to provide the requested service.

In line with the above, four years after the initial contact date, and if no further training provision is required, we will permanently delete the data we hold about you from the CRM system.

Access to your data and correction

We are committed to keeping your data up to date as far as is reasonably possible. However, if you believe that we have made an error, then please contact us as outlined below and we will use reasonable endeavours to correct.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to request a copy of the data that we hold about you. Once an individual’s identity has been verified, Vocendi will respond with minimum delay, and within one month as specified by law.
